Purpose: Brand Recognition

Conclusion: The effective use of humor and celebrity cameos creates a trusted feeling of happiness when thinking of the Alexa. and by repeating the name of the product and the company associated continues in helping the audience remember the product.  Because the audience is able to remember the brand and see the endless options one can do with an Alexa, there is a very big chance one will buy the product

Topic proposal

My research topic is exploring the effectiveness of persuasion techniques commonly found in social psychology such as "foot-in-the door" and"door-in-the-face" phenomenons. These are important because they are commonly taught compliance techniques and have been heavily studied in my field of psychology. I have a few research questions I can dive into with these compliance strategies. One is, do these strategies and which strategies work better than no strategy at all? Do certain strategies work better on specific genders? Finally, which strategy is most effective of the ones used in the experiment?
